As a Junior VR Designer you’ll be working on things like 👇

  • Design radically new learning experiences and features in immersive VR tech
  • Research, collect and analyse user data and documents to support design proposals
  • Conduct user research to test, iterate and validate prototypes
  • Design platform features and learning content following from your independent research of inspirational, leading-edge and highest quality designs
  • Synthesise problem statements, challenges and propose design solutions
  • Solve design challenges together with cross-functional teams and turn them into exciting design concepts
  • Create user flows, map user behaviour and pathways to ensure the end-to-end successful design of Gemba’s experiences
  • Maintain deep understanding of the Gemba platform and constantly challenge our design to get better and better
  • Keep up to date with latest trends and developments in VR Design and technology

The perfect individual for this unique role will have 👇

  • A portfolio of work
  • Experience with Unity 3D
  • Experience designing for Meta Quest 2 headsets
  • Experience designing VR features, learning exercises and environments
  • Ability to articulate designs for internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Can-do attitude with confidence in your ability to work to a brief whilst able to use your own intuition to fill in the gaps
  • Organisation and problem-solving skills with fastidious attention to detail
  • Determination – if you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig to find it and never give up
  • Excellent communication skills and never afraid to ask questions
  • An unrelenting thirst for knowledge, with a strong desire to learn and develop

Location: Wapping, London, UK

Onsite: 5 days per week

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
